I worked at the Aircraft Engine division of General Electric in Evandale (near Cincinnati) Ohio from 1966 till I retired in 1998. From what I remember we provided engines for both military and commercial aircraft which were purchased by the Saudis. The Saudis helped pay my paycheck. I don't remember any instance of those aircraft being used to attack the U.S.

A lot of the royal family get the interior of their private jets decorated by a company in Tyler, Texas.

speaking of 1998. Clinton anounced the same "deal" of sales of Boeings to the saudis more than 1 time. He took credit for the sale.
I don't have a problem with commercial aircraft sales. It is the express intent of embargoes and sanctions to stop selling weapons and giving money to the enemy.

It is common for them to travel with many wives, concubines and never less than a body guard for each one.

Yes, I think you are right. But most of the time just the pilot and the crew fly over there.

There is a story told... probably not true... of a person who came out of the gate of a chemical plant with a wheelbarrow full of grass. The security guard decided that he was probably smuggling something out so he checked the grass thoroughly and found nothing. The guy came out every day with a wheelbarrow full of grass but the security guard decided that he was going to be diligent and this guy wasn't going to tire him down from his job and then sneak something out.
They finally found out what he was stealing... wheelbarrows.
This is the story I always think of when an issue like this comes up.
Those who are not pro Obama say... Ooooh. Look he did evil.
Those who are pro Obama say... hey... your guys did evil too.
The point that is missed is that they all do the same evil. There is no good side or bad side. There are only varying flavors of bad... but bad remains.

I've heard that story too but in the version I heard it was sawdust instead of grass.
I heard another wheel barrow story as a kid. I think it was my Dad who said inflation got so bad in Germany at one time that if a person found a wheelbarrow full of money he would dump out the money and steal the wheelbarrow. Is that where we are heading now with the Feds printing and dumping money into the economy?
