I guess an apology is due. And so I apologize. And yet, the abscence of evidence is not evidence of absence. There are other examples, such as the the one Sam mentions.
I pray for the day when we are beyond all of this sort of thing from all sorts of people. The only daylight I see is that it appears that this all gets better with the passage of time and generations.

I think it has some on both sides. But I still hate the racism I was exposed to.

I wonder how long it will take, or if we ever get there.
I wonder how long it will take, or if we ever get there.
When we get to heaven it will be over.

Racist lending practices. The community reinvestment act under Carter if I remember was part of the cause of the mortgage bubble and meltdown.
They actually posted numbers to make sure certain neighborhoods were red lined.
The new banking reform bill:
The creation of the Office of Minority and Women Inclusion will address the need for diversity in the workforce of regulators and in contracting, he said.
Will push loans that are for minorities and women that otherwise do not qualify for approval.
I am elated to read that this woman has been fired. As for the voter intimidation has anyone heard that something is going to be done about this, because I am really upset. This is one of the reasons that I am an absentee voter. Also, I would like to add that just because you don't see anything happening doesn't mean anything isn't happening. Furthermore, I find it quite interesting how now that we have an African American President he is responsible for the racist views of other blacks. Yet, during the times of White Presidents (some who have made racist comments) when White's in public office have made racist comments there is no large outcry from the White populous to oust the person from their position. This is nothing more than hypocrisy. I know that many of you will jump all over my comment, but truth is truth. People need to stop counting their chickens before they hatch, be it Black, White, Mexican, or any other ethnicity.

He is responsible for those he appoints to these positions. No you can't blame Obama for the racist comments of any random individual but you can when it happens again and again by people he has put in powerful positions within his administration.
To be fair in this case he did the right thing and she was forced to resign. Eric Holder should have already been on that list for the things the justice department has done under his guidance.

Pretty sure there won't be any racists making it on that day! But I think I know what you mean, Cindy. The true church has no racism in it, and we'll all be free from it on that day.
I've always been so amazed at how so many christians - even folks in our circles - hold onto racist sentiments and attitudes. It's sickening!
