It appears that SEU actually has a campus, so here's my question:
Is it possible that they offer legit degrees in addition to their "life experience" awards?
I appreciate the ferreting out of the truth, but it concerns me that someone might actually take classes and *earn* a degree, only to have it negated because the college itself has a bad reputation. If someone put in the time and work to take classes, and thought they were earning a legit degree, I think that's different than just issuing a check and never taking a class.
How do we know whether someone attended SEU for *real* or whether they took online courses or just paid for their piece of paper?
Really? I haven't seen any evidence of a campus? The address in Arkansas is in an office building.
The address in UK appears to be nothing as well.
They are listed as one of the top 25 diploma mills in UK and are forbidden from giving out diplomas in the UK. also they refuse to admit students in Arkansas so what good would a campus be?
That is supposed to be the first clue in a diploma mill, they won't admit students in the state their campus is located.

I don't know specifics, but I suspect that there is some course-work to be done for a degree from SEU. It's possible that the courses have some educational value, though possibly marginal. I think the majority, if not all, the courses are on-line. I'm waiting for a reply from SEU on whether they have a faculty directory. Their website doesn't include such a list, which is a huge red flag.
Kings Evangelical Divinity School<-----THIS one seems to be purely an online college, however that alone doesn't negate its value. Looking at the list of coursework, it seems fairly normal to me.

Whoops! You're right. I was at the Southeastern University website. It takes a little more specific searching to even turn up Southern Eastern University.
However, SEU can stand for a Southeastern University degree. They use the same acronym as the "degree mill" you're referring to. Since LS & KB actually spelled it out, then it appears you guys are correct in crying foul.

It's "Abi." Hannah is my daughter; I forgot to remove her name from when I had her pic up. My fault!
You're welcome.

Are we positive that SEU is not referring to Southeastern University ?
Yes we are certain that Boora and Stoneking both claim "doctorates" from "Southern Eastern" - a notorious diploma mill operated out of Bristol, England and with an office in Columbia, South Carolina.
There are several legitimate schools with the word "Southeastern" or "South Eastern" in their name; most notably "Southeastern Baptist" in Wake Forest, NC, and Southeastern University (www.seuniversity.edu) a fully accredited Assemblies of God institution in Lakeland, FL.
