I have noticed this in my recent "non-posting, lurking". Those who argue the most against things have very few or no post or comments at all on this forum that ever talk about the things God is doing in their lives, churches or communities. It's like " look at me , I'm free now, your wrong, but.......".
Seems I remember something about knowing a tree by its fruit.... or something like that. I would like to see the fruit. Don't tell me "how" you grew the tree and why you believe mine is dead, show us the fruit. It amazes me even more that some that are bashing and question others beliefs are teachers and preachers themselves, yet they never have anything to say about how well their churches/ministries are doing or the blessings God has worked.
Negative or not, good post Lady Rev. Sorry if I remain a little negative about the response you probably get.

I'm afraid the horse is out of the gate and refuses to be stalled. The support is on it's side and that is not going to change. It is what this forum is for, although, it is touted as "discussion". It used to be "discussion" a long time ago - FCF - the type of discussion that didn't include as much mockery and bashing that we see now.
The majority of the posters are, mainly, anti or ex-UPC and it's just going to be the norm, I think.
There are still some good and thoughtful posts to be found and that is why we keep coming back to post. Even though I'm not always in agreement, I still like many of the posters.

That is hatefulness against an organization and a group of people, IMO.

as a matter a fact spent our honeymoon down in your neck of the woods, went to Galveston Island for a week. The only beach without oil.

Wow, cool! I used to go to Galveston quite a bit when I lived in Clear Lake City. Yes, thus far, no oil. Watching this tropical storm that is out there. It looks like it's projected to come in close to the Mexican border. I sure would hate for it to hit the Florida coast. All the other coastal states would be affected as well.
Anyway, CONGRATULATIONS, again!!!!!!
