I don't think stupidity is a necessary pre-condition for deception. Let me rattle off a few names...Nietzsche, Hitchens, Dawkins, Sarte, Rand...just to name a few. These folks are not stupid by any stretch of the imagination but I think mostly everybody in here would say that they were/are decieved.
Of course if you want to consider them, and others like them, less decieved than trinitarians then I would say that you're stupid.

Do those folks know they are deceived?

A Princess Bride scene comes to mind:
Vizzini: Let me put it this way. Have you heard of Aristotle? Plato? Socrates?
Man in Black: Yes.
Vizzini: Morons.

some trinitarians are stupid
some oneness are stupid
some people are stupid
actually,
everyone is stupid at times
except for me and you,
and I'm not so sure about you.
No. They canot deceive themselves by going against their own compunctions or affections. Therefore, they believe they are, or were, right...hence the deception...they believe that the wrong conclusion they believe...is right.

Good logic!
So. Are you deceived?

Let's see?? Check your library, (if you have one) and see how many books were written by Trinitarians and see how many were written by Oneness. I guess the stupid ones wrote the books? Is that the way it is? And how many of those stupid Trinitarians have you followed in reading their books? How many of their sermons have you preached? Boy, sometimes we are so consistently inconsistent!
Does calling someone "Trinitarian" mean they can not or do not believe in one God?
I think that believing in One God does not necessarily make you "Oneness!" I'm not "Oneness" and I'm not "Trinitarian".... I'm simply a Christian that believes in One God!
Oh well, I may be bordering on being stupid!
