JD this is more evidence that BO is pro muslim. Israel has always been a strong alli of the US.

BO continuously does things to insult the Israelies, while giving a bow and handshake to countries that have not been our allies, but they for the most part are communist countries.

JD, you're wrong about Israel starting the insults. The housing units in Jerusalem announced were planned for the JEWISH QUARTER of Jerusalem. Jews have been building houses in Jerusalem for thousands of years. The Palestinians were dedicating a square the SAME WEEK Joe Biden was in the region to a slain woman terrorist from the 1970s who killed dozens of people, including children. But no one said a word about that. Who is serious about a peace treaty anyway? What have the Palestinians done to foster peace in the region? What concessions have they made? They won't officially declare that Israel has right to exist. And its because they don't believe they do. And they really arent interested in peace. They are only interested in incrementally getting what they can, then demanding more, until Israel no longer exists.

Fact is, Netanyahu is a war hawk and a conservative and the BO administration doesn't like him. The insult is feigned because they want to turn Israeli sentiment against him.

And America most certainly needs Israel! They are our only consistent ally in the region as well as one of our most loyal allies in the world, and the promises of God to Abrham still are in effect. If we bless them God will bless us, and He has! Most Jews may reject Jesus as Messiah but there are Jews that have and there are Jews that WILL. They are BLINDED in part, Paul says, JD. Read Romans 11. One day the blinders are gonna come off and they are going to ask "What are these wounds in thine hands? Then He will answer, 'Those with which I was wounded in the house of my friends.'" (Zech. 13:6) "...and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced..." (Zech. 12:10) and the revelation of who their Messiah is will become apparent! Not all of Israel will be saved, but a remnant shall be.

The sincere, honest Jews who live according to the Old Testament the best they know how and pray earnestly daily for Messiah to come are praying to the Lord we serve, they just dont know Him like we do. Don't fool yourself JD, AMERICA NEEDS ISRAEL! AMERICA NEEDS JESUS! ISRAEL NEEDS AMERICA! ISRAEL NEEDS JESUS!

And if anyone is going to get judged its Israel's enemies and those who come against Jerusalem! "Behold I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem. And in that day I will make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it." (Zech. 12:2-3)

Some provoking questions....

Can Israel do any wrong in your book? If Palestinian civilians are being oppressed should Christians speak out? Should US rebuke them if this is the case?

Why should Israel be allowed nuclear weapon? Why do some nations have the privilege and others don't? Is it based on supporting of terrorism, etc?

Interesting eschatological conclusions. I think the overuse of Gen 12 int he scope of today's national politics is unfortunate, and it has caused us to give Israel a free pass, and when we don't for other's to balk about the sky falling because we "blased God's people," nevermind that God's people are the elect, the remnant and not a national, political body. And nevermind our duties as Christians to decry injustice and oppression no matter the aggressor.

Never understood the end of Romans 11. And still don't. Many don't.
Jesus came, they didn't accept him (the majority -- obviously most early Christians were Jewish). They rejected him. He hasn't forsaken them. The fulfillment of his promises to them is in Jesus. The fulfillment of Abraham's covenant is in Jesus, to which you and I are partakers and now part of the family. But somehow they are pardoned for their rejection? Can't phathom that and I continue to read scholarly works on Romans 11 as a result. Not sure of Paul's intent, it surely wasn't for us to worship this country called Israel, and see them as God's protected people that if we scrutinize we are all damned.

Perhaps we should find out if it is true or not before jumping to conclusions.

These are Nuclear technicians trained in the US coming back for continuing education. It's not about stealing our nuclear secrets. We have an already working relationship with them
