See I am the guy that Tweets in traffic that I am stuck and can't go anywhere, etc. I think that part of it is neat 'cause it does give a glimpse into the lives of the famous or infamous people one chooses to follow.
I tweet every now and then, and just like my facebook status, it's almost always personal stuff.

It's something of a hassle for me to get the phone and spill out 3 seconds of whatever. I have to find my glasses. Find my phone (coat pocket?) and then drive with my knees while I tell the world something they won't understand and probably don't even care about.
I'd rather just stifle the anger for another hour until I can rant on AFF.
But, twit and twerping are probably good utilities for those need to constantly update their family, fan base or shareholders.
Jeff uses twitter (and facebook) for his business--he gets a lot more website traffic right after sending out updates.
I just do it for fun.
