I love to cook and bake, but some times you just need something quick and don't want to spend all your time preparing in the kitchen, especially if you have company coming!!!!
wow before you posted this I was just thinking that I love the little mini cream puffs.Good choice! Sam's Choice spiril ham is a good choice as well as it comes with a glaze packet. Then you can cube it up and put it on crackers with a cheese cube.I also love buying the little puff pastry cups and making small cream cheese pecan pies. Those are so yummy.

Do you make sweet and sour meatballs? You use a large grape jelly and a large bottle of chilli sauce and heat them up for the sauce.I do this in a slow cooker and add two or three times the amount and then put the precooked meatballs in.You can use smoked sausage as well.I love this.

Those pinwheels that you make from cream cheese on a flour tortilla are good
appetizers. You spread out the cream cheese and add the thin ham and cheese and roll them up.I am sure someone here has a recipe. You cut them into pinwheels. They are great!

I also remembered that my friend makes mexican egg rolls and they are cheap to make and then fries them up and serves them with a side of salsa.

Wow... these ideas are great... Keep the ideas coming.

When I decide what we're gonna do for sure, I'll post my list and let y'all help me decide if it's good enough

I am not good at planning this kind of thing.... and it doesn't help that I'm nervous about the whole thing...

Trouvere, I found this recipe, and it sounds pretty easy to make. Would this be the cream cheese pecan things you mentioned.
