Hence, "For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us. What must we do to live in peace?

Repent
Shake off pride
Repent some more
Shake off pride
I think varying definitions of peace may be the heart of the problem, DT.

I agree with D4T!

To have peace on AFF, we must give up:

1. Personal insults when you've reached a stalemate in your discussion.
2. Thinking that your opinion is the absolute and complete truth and not JUST YOUR OPINION!
3. Being disrespectful!

Hmmm ... the AFF dynamic ... do you think our human nature compels us to want to see a good fight/tussle/battle of the minds?

Remember what would happen when their was a fight in school ... THE SWARM EFFECT.

I mean we do have a popcorn smiley for a reason, don't we?

How 'bout these smileys?

Many of us have posted together for a long time now. We know what each other believes, we EXPECT a certain response and do not always READ the post (because we know what they are going to say), so we respond with that already preconceived edge or disrespect.

That would mean admitting that our interpretation is NOT GOD'S WORD or that our politics are flawed?!

His WORD IS FOREVER SETTLED!

Is this on anyone's list?
The fringe has already purged itself several times and things remain the same.

All that concept will accomplish is what used to be referred to as "Us 4 & no more".

The circle gets smaller and smaller until one finds out that the only person who truly thinks like me... is me.

And then, in most cases, they will shrug it off as others not being able to "handle the truth" and march on alone happy that only they & God are in the know these days.

His word is.

Our interpretation is not.

The only thing feeling/living like one has all truth accomplishes is it ensures you can no longer be taught.
