I think she was the one whose grandma has Alzheimer's disease and she wanted to do something memorable that her grandma could enjoy while she still remembers who she is. Very touching! Ryan Seacrest was about to cry when they got the grandmother on the phone.

American Idol. New Star?
Last year, Adam Lambert made me jump off the couch and Danny Gokey almost did. But last night I stood up. Does that count?
Jermaine Sellers. Who knows what he'll be like when music joins him, but WOW, he's amazing!! Watch for his name.
