It would be a terrible thing. I wouldn't want to be involved, but as stated by a couple here, I'd do what's necessary to protect my family.

Got several hundred shotgun shells, 30-30, and 270 for long range, thousands of rounds of 22 for close quiet work, and just aquired a 1911 45 cal for personal defense up close.
