Absolutely!! People talking about wanting to leave America get under my skin fast. If you're a true patriot and a true American you'll stay and fight for the America you believe in(even if that's polar opposite of the current leadership) no matter what it takes.
Valient men and women died on battlefields from Concord to Iraq, and the political process doesn't go their way so they get their undies in a wad and think it's time to leave.

One of the interesting points is that they state in another forum on this issue that no one keeps track of US citizens that desire to leave. The numbers could be greater than thought.

I'd be happy to start there, but the article you provided is a.) written when GWB was President and b.) clearly states that the reason most of the people left at the writing of this article wasn't for political reasons.

It won't be hard to find documentation citing Obama's anti-war platform and now he is sending MORE troops despite protests from some of his anti-war left leaning supporters.
It won't be hard to find documentation where under Obama our debt increased in one year exponentially more than it did under Bush.
Further under Bush our economy really was not solely his doing. See to the Left leaning supporters of Obama that ran Fannie Mae and Freddy Mac into the ground while making a huge profit themselves supported by the likes of Barney Franks and Maxine Waters.
Democrat and Republicans are both to blame. I get turned off big time when I see one side or the other trying to deflect their own sad efforts by pointing fingers at some other group. In this case the other group is "the former administration put this in my lap".
