would you agree that "the Church" is the bride of Christ as spoken of in Rev 19? If so, by you seperating yourself from "the Church" wouldn't you theoretically be seperating yourself from the one of whom He is espoused?

With all due respect... please read it again.

He said "A church" (as in a single congregation) not "THE church" (the collective Body of Christ).


There is a huge difference... and he's 100% correct in his statement.

i WAS about to post the same thing but he beat me to it.
Also no one org should ever claim they are THE Church.
In Revelations there are Seven Churches also. But none of those are described as the church either.

You're both wrong. He said "a Church." When "Church" is capitalized, except in the name of a particular local church (e.g. First Baptist Church) or the name of a denomination (e.g. the United Pentecostal Church), it refers to the collective body of Christ.
