Just asking...Rhoni
P.S. Does it have to smell like liquor? What is that about?

Rhoni,
Thanks for your post. Initially, I ran across the Amaretto and had them throw it in just out of curiosity. It smelled so good that I wanted to try some of the others. I think when you get into the scents you just want to try everything.
I was excited when I talked with her, and I haven't prayed about it, but my husband is thinking it may not be a good idea. For the very reason that this is the name of my business and I think it may not be a good reflection.

Trust your husband...I think he has the right thing in mind. I know that I had a past relative that had a restaurant and there was never allowed any alcoholic beverages or smoking. All ministry ate free. The business was blessed beyond measure.
Compromise never accomplishes anything and the ethics you live by should be the same business principles you sell by!
I know you well enough to know that you will make the right decision...I know you love God!
Blessings, Rhoni

On the one hand, I can see what Rhoni and your husband are saying, but yet can't help but look at it from another angle.
You may never know the effect you will have on this woman or those who come in contact with you through this.
There is much to consider here, PO...I will be praying that you make the right choice...

Thanks, Barb. You are certainly right - many things to consider.
I know that feeling that comes over you when you are in sales and you have to stop and think, quite a bit, before you leap. I don't want to leap here, although it's a big open door for me. I will do whatever my husband thinks is right whether I pray about it or not.

Barb,
It might be stretching it quite a bit on the grace side thinking that selling candles in liquor store would be a witness for Christ to the store owner. I think that I would have to thank the lady for her kindness to help with the smell, but have to tell her that I would have to graciously decline the offer to sell candles in her store because of my belief in Christ and not wanting to promote alcohol consumption. I think that would be a witness above all others.
Respectfully disagreed,
Rhoni

If I told her that she would wonder why I was testing with those scents anyway. And why was I? Cause I wanted to know!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
