Re: Tired and weary

Josh, I'll be praying for you and that God will give you His wisdom, direction, and strength to become the man that you desire to be.

Re: Tired and weary

Hey Josh, I pray you are not out in the world tonight you have come to realize isn't all that. Usually when you see it for what it is, the devil drums on your brain, your friends will tell you it's only fun, and it's hard to turn your back on it and reject that world you know so well, especially when you have been doing it for so long. I know how you feel, it's lonely sitting home when your buddies are doing the usual weekend thing, you get the urge to go back at it, you may convince yourself that you'll try next week, have one more drink, one more drunk, one more party, I know, I've been there. You know something I didn't at your age, I didn't know Jesus, I had no help, you do. Turn to HIM, he will carry you through the lonely, tough times, and you will be a better person for it. Don't waste your years wishing, turn now, it gets harder the longer you wait. Jesus will never let you down Josh, HE may put you through a refining fire to test your faith and strengthen you, and HE has a job and purpose for you. I pray tonight that you have stayed out of bars, and away from drinking. You know Josh, the best friends I have ever had I found in church this past 20 months. They are all true, all supportive, all strong in their faith, I wish I had found them when I was 29 rather than 57, what a life I could have had, but I still have much to look forward to. Keep the faith Josh, I pray for you every day.
Bro. Peter

Praying that Josh will return to this forum and see all the prayers and encouragement
from those who care. God's people really care. Because of the Love of GOD shed abroad
in their hearts by the Holy Ghost!.
Lord, draw Josh back to this thread, in Jesus Name!

Josh hasn't been back to see many of the posts, and I'm bumping his thread in hopes that a reminder will go to his email if he subscribed to receive emails from the forum when his thread receives replies so that he knows some of us are continuing to pray for him.

Re: Tired and weary

I still look for Josh too, and pray for him. Don't anyone give up on him, not now, not ever. I tried so many times to give up that like and find truth, but it took me 40 years. Though I do not struggle with that world or addictions anymore, thanks and all Praise and Glory to God, like everyone I do have my struggles. I am thankful for my friends for the help, I'm still only newly come to Jesus. In fact, it will be two years tomorrow that I woke up in a recovery room and realized that my life had changed forever. I still look for help and direction, so does my wife, and God put Falla39 in our path, she is a great source of wisdom, scripture and friendship. Josh needs this too, so everyone keep praying that he comes back, he needs the kind words and prayers of everyone. If you hvae never been down that road, it is almost impossible to understand the difficulty in that fight, so give him a chance and with prayer he will make it through.

Bro. Peter Wells,

I am believing with you that the Spirit is going to draw Josh back, in Jesus
Name. And I am sure others are believing too!

Re: Tired and weary

Just thinking this morning that perhaps the original post is to remind us to pray
daily for all of the JOSH's in the world. God is no respecter of persons. He loves
and cares for all those who desire to be delivered from the power and degradudation
of sin.
May the Spirit of The Living God draw them to a place or to a person/persons who
can lead them to repentance and salvation.

Blessings,

Falla39
