From whence do our new members come?

Most of our newbies have no church background, to my knowledge. If they do, most are the very loosely affiliated Christmas and Easter type.

Our church is relatively new and of the 200 or so regular attenders, 70% weren't going to church anywhere 6 months ago. We're reaching vigorously into the world of the "unchurched" and to those far from God. A large number of people in our new church are still far from taking a step of faith.

Most of our new people are either once lost family members or new converts.

However this is simply my estimate-- I don't have hard numbers to back up this perceived truth.
