Funny, I had the same thought when I looked at those photos. Not that there's anything wrong with those watches, They are just not something I'd want to spend money on.

I know some people that have a watch in every color or design you can imagine-- and coordinate them with whatever they happen to be wearing every day. To each their own I guess....

I wear a $6 watch that I found on a clearance rack. It is sterling silver plated, so it matches anything I choose to wear. Nothing fancy, just something to tell me the time--and I'm perfectly happy with it. When it dies, I hope I am blessed to be able to find another one for $6.

Hardly anyone at my church wears a watch anymore. It isn't a conviction... its just they all have cell phones instead.

I'm waiting to hear someone preach on the evils of wearing a cell phone, diamond studded cellphone covers, or equating "costly array" and the expense of the latest gadgets...
