Re: --Pentecostalism Defined--
rgcraig,
You should have taken the time to stop, pull over, and get some good pics of that sign! That would have been priceless.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.
"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.
"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

Having experienced what was first experienced on the Day of Pentecost and what drove the actions of the Church in Acts.

OK.
One who identifies with a church or denomination who is "Pentecostal".
One who accepts the continuation of the gifts of the Spirit.
Or as Wikipedia says it: "Pentecostalism is a renewalist religious movement within Christianity, that places special emphasis on a direct personal experience of God through the baptism of the Holy Spirit[1] which is evidenced by speaking in other tongues. The term Pentecostal is derived from Pentecost, a Greek term describing the Jewish Feast of Weeks. For Christians, this event commemorates the descent of the Holy Spirit upon the followers of Jesus Christ, as described in the Book of Acts, Chapter 2,[2] and Pentecostals tend to see their movement as reflecting the same kind of spiritual power, worship styles and teachings that were found in the early church. For this reason, some Pentecostals also use the term Apostolic and/or Full Gospel to describe their movement."

Re: --Pentecostalism Defined--
"Pentecostalism" is a wide umbrella of those that identify with the Pentecostal experience of the enfilling of God's Spirit with the evidence of speaking in other tongues and being baptized in the saving name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins.
Identifying with the experience of Acts 2 includes adherence to the doctrines taught from that day forward.

We all know what "flippin" is a euphemism for. I am deeply hurt and offended. Furthermore, it indicates you've probably watched "Napoleon" which is a Hollywood production and I feel you should be banned for life from AFF!!!
