Regarding Paul, Paul said that the shadow of sabbaths was a shadow ot hings to come. he did not mean they would come from the standpoint of the time of his writing about that statement. He was saying that, from the standpoint of of the day in which shadows were implemented before Christ, they were shadows of things to come.
Paul only kept sabbaths in order to reach Jews. He actually said that He became AS A JEW, necessitating him to believe he actually was not any more, except in regards to his past lineage where he would say "according to the flesh".
