LCS, my friend I just saw this thread today. I pray that all is going well with the tests and what lies ahead.
The circle of life is tough as we watch those we love so much age and begin to suffer things that come with age. There really aren't words to magically make things better. The best I can do is say that when I read your pain I felt pain and when I pray your name and your dad will be on my lips to our heavenly Father who knows all.
I pray that in this time of trouble your dad will remember that the true source of our strength, our hope and comfort, is in the Lord. Sometimes facing our mortality can really bring what is important into focus and perhaps this will for him.
He is blessed to have a daughter who loves him and is there for him.

LCS - may Jesus be with you in a special way today! May HIS peace that passeth all understanding flood your soul! I don't "know" you - but I love you! I know that we could be "kindred spirits".  And believe me - I know all about the tie between a girl and her daddy!
