You're right, it's not the same. The 12 were fired within the rule of law - as terrible as the firings were. It was legal.
If the 1 was fired for political reasons, it violated the law that BHO himself co-sponsored which passed last year.

Doesn't it matter that if fired for political reasons, the law was broken and it should be investigated and, if necessary, prosecuted?
