Renda, I do not know who made the Facebook post that you posted here, but i will say that I feel they are very, very irresponsible.

The post made it seem as though ten people had been shot AT THE CHURCH.

You know at the right time of day...you could find more apostolics to shoot at at Wal Mart than at the church

Re: Doug White's Church Needs Prayer - Immediately

Perhaps Doug was a bit shakened and didn't realize his post on FB sound like 10 were shot from his church.

I just tried to read between the lines and realized that if they were in lock-down that probably the shooters had shot somewhere else and they didn't want anyone out until they found them.

Re: Doug White's Church Needs Prayer - Immediately

Doug just posted this on FB:

Douglas White: Shooter in CUSTODY! Someone had him at gunpoint and called the police it seems... A few streets behind the Church on the OTHER side of the woods... God is good!

Re: Doug White's Church Needs Prayer - Immediately

The miscommunication was because of the "s" left off the word "shot". There were 10 shots.

The man that dropped the shooter off turned himself in as well. God is merciful.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.

"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.

"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."
