Say there are Jews serving in the country that my country deems to be the enemy. Should I, as a Christian not fight the enemies of my country because I might kill a Jew?

Not only should but it is a Christian man's obligation to serve. Fulfilling your obligation does not necessarily mean you have to kill. You can serve in the Air force or Navy.

Don't be too sure of that. Especially under the present administration.

I don't need one because it is not a Bible thing. The only reason most men don't believe in serving is because of back problems. A yellow streak up the middle of their backs. Would do every young man good to serve, make a man out of him, teach him some discipline. When I got kicked out of ABI that was the piece of advice Bro. Norris gave me and he was right. When a boy graduates from High School the question shouldn't be are you going to serve but what branch are you going to serve in.

Yeah... but he is all for mandatory conscription. Both on a military and a civilian basis.

Some of my post was tongue in cheek. I don't know how he can encourage military service when he wasn't willing to serve. I think he has a back problem!!! I rather doubt he loves this country enough to serve in the Military. I do believe if someone wants a hand out from the government they need to be willing to work for it. That includes those on welfare. There's a lot of trash to pick up and graffiti to cover along Californis highways. The Bible says he who isn't willing to work shouldn't eat. They had the same rule in the early Colonies.

Now that would surely cause a slow down in welfare recipients.
