Exactly, it's the spirit in which he said it, he wasn't being vindictive.
He is a new president and will definitely be more careful about how he choses his words, perhaps now he can relate to why Bush would stammer frequently-he was trying not to offend anyone.
I guess I wouldn't know how I would respond if I had a child who participated in S.O., Keith works with some children who do, but I guess I am putting myself in Obama's shoes, of being misunderstood and using the wrong phrase because he was trying to be funny.
I am more worried about his policies than his faux pas I guess. Some things are worth getting upset about, for me this isn't one. I know that there are enough people out there who will take up for me on this.
