That website is from a group in Australia which holds to the British Israel doctrine,I doubt Bro.Wilkerson belongs to them.

There sure are! Look at National Israel and Judah.

Re: IS David WILKERSON ASSEMBLY of GOD!!
For a while I used to get DW's sermons in print, but I moved and didn't get them after that,I don't agree with the man on alot of issues ,but in the trinity ranks he is one of the straighter ones,he is agains't the prosperity gospel crowd.

Re: IS David WILKERSON ASSEMBLY of GOD!!
Seeing that Nicky Cruz segment brought back some memories.
I read The Cross and the Switchblade many years ago.
I think I've read at least one other book by David Wilkerson.
I was really impressed by him.
He was greatly used of God to bring salvation to so many
and to help so many get off drugs and live productive lives.
I went to the First Christian Assembly here in Cincinnati one time to see David Wilkerson. I expected a smooth, polished, confident speaker. I was very disappointed. I left there wondering how God could use him. He was not much of a speaker. It took a while to dawn on me. God did not use him because of his oratorical abilities or because of his smooth personality. His ministry was based on a heart full of love and being yielded to the Holy Spirit. Just looking at the fruit of that man's ministry with the gangs and addicts shows that he was a genuine man of God with the real thing. I remember reading how that when he and others would preach on the streets some times the "altar call" might take a long time because some times people came from roof tops or from upper stories of tenements to the street to kneel and "accept Jesus Christ as their personal Savior." We've made fun of that phrase and labeled it greasy grace and easy believism but those folks would rise from their knees born of God and new creatures in Christ.

Re: IS David WILKERSON ASSEMBLY of GOD!!
Some scenes in Nicky Cruz's testimony were from the movie The Cross and the Switch Blade. I saw it years ago. I think we have it here somewhere on VHS. I recently re-read the book They Speak With Other Tongues and I've been thinking of digging out that old Cross and Switch Blade movie and watching it again.
Those two books, They Speak With Other Tongues and The Cross and the Switchblade had quite an influence on my life. Years ago I had a life-changing experience when I simply asked Jesus to come into my life. I was born again. I became a new creature. Later I realized that there was more for me in my Christian experience and I walked in that light. However, I was taught that what I had thought was a new birth was not a new birth. I was taught that the change in my life that resulted in an inward assurance that I was bound for Heaven was deficient, just one step in a birth process, and that if I had stopped there I would go to Hell because I wasn't really saved, that I wasn't really a child of God until I spoke with tongues. You know, the "three-step" doctrine. In time I had to give up that "three-step" doctrine and quit denying what God had done for me when I had taken that "one-step" of commitment years ago.

Nicky Cruz spoke at our church last year. He was great, but his Puerto Rican accent after all these years, is SO strong, that you had to listen really closely. But his story is just amazing!

I have read his book Run Baby Run.
How can we (some of us OP's) say the man is not really saved and on his way to hell?
I heard him speak a few years ago at a nearby Assembly of God church and he does have a strong accent.
