However I enjoyed a "double double" a few weeks ago when in LA and it was WONDERFUL!!!!

It is fast food and not gourmet but within the limitations of fast food it was wonderful and much better than any other fast food burger joint I can think of.

Perhaps if I had access to eating them all of the time they would become old, boring, and I would take them for granted as some of you do.
To me, In-N-Out says, "home". I can remember as a little kid going up past Dodger Stadium to one of the few In-N-Outs around. It was a double drive thru that has since ceased to operate as such. I know you can get monster burgers and steak burgers and _________ but they just don't take me back. U Burger did just that...it took me back to when I was a kid.

The face you get a nice burger warm and moist, and the lettuce and tomato are crisp and fresh makes a big difference. Last three Sundays the Einsteins at Burger King (no In-N-Out for 200 miles) have made wrong order and when we get home, it was cold.

I never liked the I-N-O Fries, but my wife thought they were good. Excellent shakes and the price was great!

How much were the ones in Beantown?

I think there's one of those half way between here and Houston in Giddings, TX. Not sure though... There is a drive-in place there but I don't know if it's definitely Stars. Not worth the drive...

Double Cheeseburger $7.61 for a combo.
It at Boston University so they keep their prices down for students.

I will be back in June!

I'll be home in August for the originals

Many years ago say in about 91 or 92 I had a job hawking Cell Phones in Sam's Clubs. I only had the job for 3 months, for a future with SC wages and no benefits was not my mission in life. The Cellular One rep told of the store across from the University. The newest phone was a Motorola StarTAC and he said many students bought them, placing $2500 deposits. They defaulted every six months, and came back, again placing $2500 down. When asked why, one confessed the phones were resold in foreign countries for $5000!

Not all those students are poor.

That's true, but I just never saw the big deal. I can go for a superstar any time. I guess I'm not that into burgers.

I remember when In and Outs were only in LA. The guys that owned it refused to sell franchises.

I never even knew about them except when my Dad and I would drive home from Los Angeles Rams games and listen to the radio that's all I would hear is In N Out commercials

I was one of the lucky people that got to travel to U Burger in Boston!! It was AMAZING!! I've only had In and Out Burger once before and it was so long ago, I barely remember it.
However, this trip to U Burger I won't be forgetting anytime soon. It was sooo good that we went there twice within a 24 hour period.
If you, like Burgers and Fries I would recommend a visit to this place, the next time your in Beantown.
