Unfortunately, that is what it will take.

Like I said, the government is likely to not even address the root of the issues, just the symptoms.

Instead of helping those involved who can be helped, the government would just as soon help enable a permanent underclass of citizens seal their fates.

The first time I ever watched Escape From New York, I thought "they may have something here!".

Combine that idea with the bibles original idea of "sanctuary" cities, and it occures to me that you could name a few remote cities and sanctuaries which allow any inhabitants untouchable by the law. They would then be allowed to kill off each other at will as long as each inhabitant willfully stayed in the city.

Prison problems solved!

I got it Ron, move to Tijuana! Safety and security!

No matter how bad it looks where we are, it i usually worse somewhere else!

Tiajuana! They have either run off or killed the local police, everyone has to pay protection to the local drug lords, and this is just over our southern border!

Maybe Vancouver is not so bad!
