Sounds like you are havin a blast! My part-time employee runs a bicycle shop March through October. There seems to be a resurgence in his biz. All the current buzz words seem to fit... Green, lean, fit, natural...
He sells several hundred mid-range bikes each year.

If you can do it everyday you will probably be going great in a week or two. I remember those kinds of bikes. They were heavy.

Wow...I thought you were going to tell us that you had gotten a recumbent bike!..Now this. It makes me want a "real bike".... I'd probably kill myself riding through the neighborhood. Have fun with the bike and Happy Birthday ahead of time!!

No, but I'm sure I won't go anywhere but around my circle neighborhood. There are only like 30 houses, you know, so there's not much traffic.
I figure I rode all my childhood with no helmet and I survived. LOL!

Congrats on the new bike! I love bike riding- I have one of the old fashioned ones,too. It is great exercise. My birthday is Feb. 8th!

Maybe, but you're older now. (I know, I wasn't supposed to remind you ) IF something were to happen, it wouldn't be a very fast recovery. I wouldn't dare get on a bike without a helmet & knee pads! LOL
