Absolutely.

The GDP shrank 3.9% last quarter. Massive layoffs everywhere. Unemployment is approaching 10%.

The numbers don't lie.

They certainly don't, especially when you're part of that percentage. It happened to me, albeit for only 2 weeks, and now I'm back, but it is a bit unsettling to think the entire workforce is touch and go.
