Sorta, but not really. It is more about being connected to other people and then friends-of-friends. It doesn't offer nearly the same level of customization that MySpace does and is not as easy to use..... but it IS amazing the people you can find! And there are so many millions of members now that it is getting easier and easier.

I like it a lot better than Myspace. Less customization options means less hideous pages . I think Facebook is about how you interface with other people. Myspace is about "hey, look at me!" Facebook is a much more powerful engine.

I actually find it easier to use. I have reconnected with so many people through Facebook. Great!

Just a suggestion for those here - - when sending a friends request maybe it would be good to include your username here so everyone will know they "do" know you and accept your friend request.
