Yeah.... after the 15th would be good. Course we'd want to try to accomodate everyone we can, but, also know thats almost impossible. I have some ideas I'll share here and want others to do so as well. Need some "planners" organizers and such as. Need ideas!

I realize not everyone can attend this because of the distance involved.... but heres the thing.... other "Gatherings" can be planned in other parts of the country. (And Canada). Jackson was selected because it is central to the Southeast and we have a lot of posters that live in the southeast.

How about A GATHERING in Jackson, TN this spring!!!!

A few dates will be announced later for everyone that will be interested in attending to vote and majority will be the date.

We've already started preliminary planning/talking and have come up with some good ideas, but would like your input too.

The Cupples have agreed to host The Gathering at Love & Truth Church - guess what the name of the room is - - - The Gathering Place!!!!

A few ideas:

..... a golf tourney for the guys on Saturday!

..... shopping for the ladies or just hanging out talking

..... Saturday evening a catered dinner

..... Singing

..... etc. etc. etc.

Let us know your ideas and start making plans to attend. Once we get a few dates from the church office that are free we'll post the poll.

If you can schedule it around their Pastor's Conference we will come, but please I will be traveling internationally in May, so that won't work.

Actually, it was you and Sherri that gave me this idea. I read where she started a thread about Pentecostal History and you said you'd like to see the items she mentioned. So...I thought it'd be a great idea if we could have a meeting where we could display some of our Pentecostal literature, artifacts etc. We could set up tables, have a sign that says "Our Pentecostal Heritage" and display whatever people bring. Pictures, old literature, books, videos, etc. Maybe even set up a copier to make copies (with permission of course) and charge a small fee for toner, paper, etc.
