Re: Are you sure you're saved?

Timmy, when you count the votes remember I voted 100% sure, but your wording is misleading for me. I'm 100% sure I'm saved unless I backslide which would mean I would be 100% lost and hear the word depart form me.

The long-winded explanation pointed out that this applies to right now, whether or not you might lose your salvation later.

Ya, something like that. Noted that your 98, 99, and 100% are each a different category! Some of us cannot divvy up our certainty-sensitivity to that degree.

And some of us don't trust the results of any online poll, anywhere. That I am 100% certain about. Admittedly, it's still entertaining to witness the more eager, certain people.

"Faith that is seen is not faith." I hope I only need to be certain enough to act upon what I'm supposed to do, such as to pull out a sword and slaughter Isaac upon God's command, even if I'm shaking a bit up to the last minute. Any more certainty than that has to come from God, not me.

I'm 100% saved as long as Christ is 100% a savior!!!

Sure, but most folks should have at least some idea of their level of certainty. But yeah, might be hard to put a number on it.

Re: Are you sure you're saved?

I'm 100 percent sure I'm saved
but
I doubt if any of you guys are.

I go by the UPC Manual, the tradition of the elders, and the KJV in that order.

My favorite Scripture passage is:

We are God's chosen few.
All others will be damned.
There is no place in Heaven for you.
We can't have Heaven crammed.
