Talking about "missing it", you (speaking about anyone) do know what the bible says about a prophet who is wrong one time?

Yeah. I have heard what all the preachers say about prophets who miss it just one time.

They don't take in account all their misses though.

There's a different standard for them in the NT than the OT. Different punishments as well. Paul said if one prophesies let two or three others (I believe) judge. In the OT you got rocked to sleep if you missed it.
