Steadfast, go with God and preach it.
Will be remembering you in prayer.

I believe what you are embarking on is going to be better than TV for evangelisation.

Just a few days ago I watched tumors shrink and vanish on a woman given just weeks to live. GOD is good... all the time.

TB... Not sure what you are trying to say but I can assure you that I'm going to reach for them with truth in a way that isn't quite as offensive as your post would imply.

Thanks for the inspiration, though!
It was meant as TIC. I would be very disappointed if you did that! I believe that as we pray for you the God who has opened this door of opportunity will also open the doors of the hearts of these ministers as His anointing rests upon you to present the truth in love.

A friend of mine from West Virginia gave a Baptist Pastor two CD's of mine from a MINISTERS CONFERENCE. The significance of it being a ministers conference is that the Word I preached as, well.... scalding as it was to preachers. I stressed the importance of doctrinal emphasis, separation and avoiding the tendancy of 'tired' preachers to move away from strong biblical stances.

At first I scolded this Pastor friend in that I felt it was too strong for a Baptist Pastor whom he's befriended. To our amazement the Baptist Pastor made copies for all his elder... and they made over 100 more copies and gave them out to their Church families!

Long story short... I've been asked to come there to preach a revival in a Pentecostal Church (they like that 'Pentecostal worship stuff') for over 300 Baptists! They are, by their own admission' open to 'greater revelations' of baptism and the Godhead! The simply said, "We need that kind of power in our services whatever it takes." The hand of God is in all this in that I'll have Pentecostal worship, a Pentecostal core that responds to Pentecostal truth... and a lot of hungry souls!

Amazing!

What is even more amazing is that they have now spread this hunger into a huge Methodist Church and over 1/2 of their congregation is supposed to be at this revival as well!

I'm leaving tomorrow morning and will be preaching Tuesday through Friday nights. I would appreciate the prayers of those who still cherish truth.

Not sure what to expect... not sure exactly which messages I'll preach yet... all I know is that my soul get stirred when anybody gets hungry for a greater revelation of truth.

I'm weary in that I preached all week last week away from home as well. On one night alone we counted at least 10 get the Holy Ghost, 3 of whom had been seeking it for "near 20 years". Saw some incredible healings as well.

Blessings on all... and pray for us!

This is very exciting!

Okay, folks... prayer time! Got here and found it refreshing that we had about 50% of the congregation that didn't remotely look Pentecostal. No, it wasn't compromise but a congregation with almost 40% new converts and with another 10% visitors it was quite a unique experience. Not sure how many got the Holy Ghost at this point.

The PROBLEM is this: A sudden death in the Baptist Church precluded most of them from being here tonight or tomorrow (Wednesday) night. Now, however, a few of the 'Elders' are using this funeral and revival conflict to fire at the Pastor who is hungry for more.

They are supposed to be here in a great number Thursday night. However, the 'board' has a few aggressive members who have, at the last minute, decided to kick up a little. This is where prayer comes in... God needs to move on those people and silence their attacks. It appears, at our last word from the Pastor, that they love my preaching but a few are 'fearful' of what might happen if that 'Spirit' starts falling.

Go figure!

Great service tonight.... I'm bone weary from travelling, flying and preaching all day. Got to get some rest.

Pray, Saints, Pray!

NIGHT 2:

Without a doubt one of the strangest meetings I've ever been in. The Baptists have had yet another funeral but ''some of them' should be here tomorrow night. I met the Pastor tonight (in front of his house) who was as hungry a man as I've ever seen in my life.

I came ready to preach to 300 Baptists and haven't had a handful here so far. However, God has opened up some amazing things on this precious congregation. The Church had a severe attack from Hell this year and, in the midst of losing about 30% of their people, they won the equivelent of about 40% - 10% more than what they lost during the spiritual battle they endured!

While I'm known more as a 'preacher' the Gifts of the Spirit have been flowing in a measure I've never known before. We had at least 12 more get the Holy Ghost tonight and several healings. This is the third week in a row that this has been the case... each in different Churches and different states.

While it is about 40% new converts I don't suspect I've ever dealt with a more hungry Church than this one. They literally hang on every word that you speak and eagerly reach for more. (Sadly, it may be the fact that they are 'new converts' that keep them reaching as many others tend to be as 'traditional' as the Baptists we were endeavoring to reach.)

Healings, prophecies, Holy Ghost outpourings... incredible hunger! It's strange, however, in that the 'task' I thought I was coming to do hasn't quite begun yet while God is doing more than I could have imagined in the local Church.

We're hoping to start seeing more of those we came to reach tomorrow night. There are a few beligerant board members it seems... but God can work in spite of them. The Baptist Pastor is supposed to be here tomorrow night - a very tender man - and I'm hoping to minister truth (in spirit if not in scripture) to him.

Thanks for the prayers.
