Re: God's grace and power to heal
Well it was Nov. 8 2007 that Jesus came into my life, saved me healed me and made me whole, yet HE continues to touch me and bless me. I have never been sick since that time until now. I have been diagnosed with diabetes just over two months ago, yet when I walked out of the doctor's office I just gave it over to HIM again. All symptoms are gone, the craving for sweets and the great thirst and the up and down of blood sugar is gone. But even better than that HE has given me so much work, I now have a preteen bible class with my wife Iva, and it's awesome. We have helped young children learn how to pray, and they take turns praying before each class. So much more has happened too, back just before Christmas two years ago the family was called to emergency as my ailing father had a major stroke and heart attack, one of a series of many. His organs were shutting down, his heart was badly damaged and he was in great pain. We were told the day before Christmas Eve that he would not last more than a day. Well, my wife, my mother and I looked at the doctor and said there is a greater power, and HE would decide that. We held hands, laid hands on DAD and prayed. On Boxing Day I went to visit him, he was sitting up in bed eating, and the doctors said we could bring him home, they could find nothing wrong, all organs were fine and although he was a little weak he was recovering fast, and they said it was impossible! He is 92 today and still alive and mentally sharpe, although another attack has weakened him. This miracle was seen by my siblings, and all but one out of eight have come to know Jesus. HE continues to work in my life, I could tell more, but it would be too long here, but I have seen many miracles, and several times HE has used my wife Iva and I to do his work. How great is that? We continue to do HIS work, we are HIS empty vessels, waiting and listening for HIS command to do something, and look and wait for the people HE sends to us. Isn't GOD just so great???
