I'm not a republican. I am registered unaffiliated or independent.
I voted third part for the last three primary elections and republican for the general elections for president.
But this is what I would say.
Look at the trends worldwide. You will see a definite turn toward global governance, and global religion. It is no longer politically correct to profess that any one religion is "the one true way" and the only acceptable thing is to promote universalism.
Politicians commit absolute political suicide if they are not "PC".
ANY candidate that wants the presidency, including the last three presidencies, can not possibly win the white house unless they are willing to either cave in some way to global governance and religion, or if America loses enough power in the world for it to be possible to override any opposition.
Some candidates will more eagerly, and quickly embrace it than others, eventually all of them would to some degree.
The question we must ask ourselves as voters is, do we want a president that will embrace globalism with open arms, or a president that will resist it and limit it as much as possible?
