I am sorry for misunderstanding. I am excited that Americans finally have Obama's own words to judge his mindset by and are now able to put his other associations in perspective. (Since so many refused to judge him on the basis of the company he kept in and of itself- which had been enough for me).
I have not even seen the video. I'll try to go back and watch it. Frankly, there have been so many videos and allegations that I am not sure any of it will carry much weight at this point. There have been many sensible people even here on this forum who have cautioned against all the wild accusations and repeating of lies and trivial name-calling etc, because it would eventually generate a "crying wolf" response from the average observer.

It might be a little too late for any video or new revelation to make a difference at this point.
I think very few minds are going to be changed 8 days away from the elections.

... and the fact remains, even if a video emerged it wouldn't get much play on most news networks. The majority are liberal biased and have thier decision already made. I think if Obama wins this election, first on his list of thank you's should be the liberal media.

My husband feels the same way you do. I still remember traveling to the Soviet Union in the early 80's and being SHOCKED by how the average person lived compared to our poorest Americans.
I remember the oppressiveness of it in contrast to visiting China in the late 80's where the government was loosening its grip a bit and allowing little pieces of capitalism. The people were bubbling and there was real hope.
My son visited the same city, Shanghai, that we had been to just a bit under 20 years earlier. I could not believe the video he brought home. Instead of three tall buildings that were there when we were; there was now a city of what seemed to be the magnitude of New York.
Instead of thousands upon thousands of bicycles, there were cars. China by embracing a bit of capitalism has come along way.
Too bad America has failed to appreciate its abundance. One day we may all remember when...

This article says it all right here: Media's Presidential Bias and Decline
Columnist Michael Malone Looks at Slanted Election Coverage and the Reasons Why
The traditional media are playing a very, very dangerous game -- with their readers, with the Constitution and with their own fates. .
The sheer bias in the print and television coverage of this election campaign is not just bewildering, but appalling. And over the last few months I've found myself slowly moving from shaking my head at the obvious one-sided reporting, to actually shouting at the screen of my television and my laptop computer.
But worst of all, for the last couple weeks, I've begun -- for the first time in my adult life -- to be embarrassed to admit what I do for a living. A few days ago, when asked by a new acquaintance what I did for a living, I replied that I was "a writer," because I couldn't bring myself to admit to a stranger that I'm a journalist.

Its like the US and China are going in opposite directions.

Indeed. Hong Kong which reverted from British rule due to a hundred year lease and back to China's control in the late 80s or early 90s has remained free of China domination because China recognized that the free economy was essential to its continued prosperity and for China's overall benefit (according to a citizen of Hong Kong/China who was in my home last week).
