I don't think so.

Hate Crime Laws target crimes committed against a person for various reasons: Race, sexual behavior, religion... etc.

However, Female Republicans are not covered under Hate Crime Laws, as far as I know.

This classless display of hatred is stems from their hatred of Gov. Palin, just because they don't like her politics.

Believe me, there have been Obama effigies and the other examples that I posted earlier in this thread...and plenty racist emails and things of that nature that has produced many a giglle. LEXINGTON, Ky. -- A University of Kentucky student and another man were arrested Thursday, accused of hanging a life-sized likeness of Barack Obama from a tree on the campus.

The incident was one of several in recent weeks involving effigies of the presidential candidates or their running mates. No charges have been filed in four other cases that have made national headlines.

Monroe said the two men told detectives they decided to hang the effigy after seeing media reports about a Sarah Palin effigy in California.

No, do to the fact that it wasn't Oshama. Face or no face no one had any doubts who was hanging. Where was the guy's in Kentucky's freedom of speech. Is it just a one way street.
