And on a side note....socialism is just another economic philosophy. Economies shift from time to time from being more socialistic to more capitalistic and back given economic conditions. It's a natural flux.

Obama's words, he didn't want to punish the ones making money, BUT he wanted those following them to have the same rights. So what he is saying is I WILL take your money and give it to someone else.

Strengthening the social safety net and national infrastructure is necessary. All can benefit from such effort.

President Bush as President has the power to sign a bill into law or veto it. Bush isn't vetoing this stuff...he's signing it into law without any hint of reservations. I doubt he even reads them. Maybe if they printed them with pictures like those found in first grade reading books Bush would at least read the legislation and would perhaps veto SOMETHING.

$250 Billion of the bail out package will be used by the government to "invest" into some of the largest, private American banks.

Take off the rose-colored glasses sir. (What Socialist party did Bush ever join? What socialist organization proudly touted George Bush as being one of their own?) The comparison is night-and-day.

If you don't see a distinction between modern-day political Socialism, and the so-called "socialism" you're inferring in Acts 4:34-35, then it doesn't even make any sense me trying to explain how and why they're so vastly different.

And let the reader keep in mind that most Socialist movements today consider Friedrich Engels and Karl Marx to be the godfathers of modern-day Socialism. (Marx and Engels were co-authors of "The Communist Manifesto". Enough said.)
