Re: What was the first church you went too?

Bethel Tabernacle, Pastor Edgar Hudson. It was an independent church in Tampa, FL that Bro Hudson had started as a literal brush arbor meeting. My great aunt was saved into this great Apostolic truth during the brush arbor meetings, and after the church was established she began to work on her family. It was the beginning of the Apostolic experience within my family. Up until then, her parents had been old tyme Church of God. Her mom and dad (my great grandparents) would in their later years attend Bethel, and my great grandmother was baptized in Jesus Name. My great grandfather never saw the need to be re-baptized, though he saw that Jesus name baptism was not wrong.

Re: What was the first church you went too?

Swanton Missionary Church until I was 14 years old and kicked out by the pastor.

Then Antioch Apostolic Church in Toledo, pastored by Bro Paul Dennis. Still one my favorites Bro Dennis is a GREAT man of God.

Then to Pontiac Michigan where I got to sit under another of God's best - Bro Roy Well.

Then to Owosso, Michigan under Bro Harold Roberts (another of God's true gems)

back to Toledo, under Bro William Schaffner, a true friend

married Walt and changed to Trinity United Methodist Church in Swanton (not my favorite)

and now to Swanton Alliance Church, under Pastor Andy Brake, until next May when he leaves for the mission field of Indonesia

And that, my friends, is my life story in a nutshell.
