Re: Is Missing Mulitple Services Acceptable/ Hunti

I always try to miss the fewest services possible. I have been known to come home for Sunday and go back out. If I make a long distance trip, I try to plan it to miss only one weekend at the most.

When I have been under someone else, I do what they say. Most of them just said to be sure to pay my tithes on the meat.

Actually I have met Mr. Cheney several times before he was VP and from what I know of him I would have fear to go hunting with him.

Why would it be an issue? Going to church doesn't make one saved or a christian anymore than sitting in a barn makes one a cow. But I would say that one should balance out the schedule. Ultimately this is why we are able to have our own relationship with Jesus cause He will tell you what is or is not acceptable. It shouldn't be something that we dictate out for others.

I say this cause I know churches that have service every day of the week--those are rare but I know some. Those people think that it is not acceptable to have service only on Wednesday--or whatever midweek service is for you---and 2 services on Sunday. I know churches that have a midweek service and 2 AM services on Sunday. The churches that have 7 days a week church and those with the Sunday AM and PM services would say that the ones with only 2 AM services and a midweek service is unacceptable. There is no number or balance that fits for everyone.
