Ayers was certainly a terrorist at one time, but the word terrorist is extremely loaded in the context of this point in history.
Many hear "Obama palls around with terrorists"(notice that Palin didn't use the singular "TERRORIST" when reffering to Ayers) and automatically think of a current Islamic extremist.

Here is an honest statement "Obama went to dinner at the home of a 1960's radical".
Here's another one "Jesus seen alone at a local watering hole with a loose woman".
Here's one "Jesus chooses Terrorist as on of his 12 disciples".
