Re: Have you fallen victim to a political spirit?

I have noticed myself getting wrapped up in this election to the point that it was interfering with my spiritual life. Thanks for the wake up call. The same thing happens every fall when I get Buckeye Football Fever, but the taking-behind-the-woodshed moment we got from USC tossed us out of title contention, so I'm okay there.

No matter who wins this election, the sun will still rise on the just and the unjust and God's will must still be carried out by His people. All we can do is pray for our next President that God will guide him to make decisions that will be beneficial to this great nation.

I don't think so. But is this one of those cases where the victim is the last to know?

I'm not naming names, but for some of us that reek ain't our spirit.

I blame Walt Disney. and gay marriage. and my pastor. and banjo music. and the Chevy Vega. and unaccountability.

Re: Have you fallen victim to a political spirit?

Truely ,God is in control and He will order things as He sees fit.He is the one that sets up kings. That however does not mean we should be uninformed and not vote {one should vote their conscience} Arguing and fighting should not come into it. I know that people have different opinions. { I have mine } Some of the posts here on the forum have been downright crule to other people's opinions. { hopefully it was just heated debate and not hatered } Thank you for posting this and keeping things in perspective . It is so easy to get wrapped up in things and be passionate about them to the point of fighting . Our hope is in Jesus, pray for this country and leaders and have faith God will not leave us or forsake us. Truely if you think about it We are not part of this kingdom. WE BELONG TO HIS KINGDOM. GOD BLESS.
