Bring peace to the middle east
Lead us away from oil dependency

bring peace to the middle east? (HA! That's a good one. President's for the last 40 years have been trying to get those people to agree on peace. It hasn't happened yet, and it's not gonna happen anytime soon.)

Deficit reduction? Well he hasn't proposed reduction in government spending. He's actually proposed many more new government social welfare programs that are expensive. So spending reduction isn't it. There's only one other source with which to fund these programs. Taxes.

Balanced budget? Again, he can't balance it by reducing spending due to all the new programs he wants to initiate. More taxes.

Economic prosperity? I don't see economic prosperity in more taxes. I just see more taxes. And so will the company that employs you. And the companies you buy things from. Those taxes have to come from somewhere. Lower wages, less benefits and higher prices.

Social security? More taxes.

Affordable college? Another government program to subsidize your education = more taxes.

Government healthcare? Taxes

International institutions? Foreign aid, sounds like more taxes to me.

Peace? I already said what I thought about that.

Oil dependency? It's gonna take a looooong time. Which is why we should have started 20 years ago. But now is better than never.

Please note, to accomplish the spending goals Barak Obama has set, he needs to remove nearly 3 tirillion dollars from the American Economy.

Per his tax plan, 1000% of that nearly 3 trillion dollars will come from large businesses and wealthy earners.

large businesses and wealthy earners (which are generally small business owners), are the people who do the hiring in this country.


Hint removing nearly 3 trillion dollars from the economy isnt exactly a stimulas package.

To be honest, I have not heard many people on this particular forum say that they were voting for Obama in the first place...many of them have left or no longer post.
