PS, Sarah Palin isnt into Domion Theology.

Over the last month I have been doing a lot of research on Dominion Theology and the Prophetic movement that is led by P. Wagner, Dutch Sheets etc. It seems many think that those who are of this movement will eventually join with the new age and become part of the Apostate church and will end up persecuting those who are not of this movement. They talk about a civil war in the body of christ, the grey coats and the blue coats. Have you all discussed this on another thread. If so which one as I am new to this forum.

ok, I am new here so when you use certain terms I need clarification. When you say Jesus name are you saying in Jesus' name ONLY? Is this how most of you believe, that you need to be baptist in Jesus' name only? Or do you believe in the baptism in the trinity?

LOL! you really should read the rules section that you agreed to when you signed up!


We are an eclectic group of folk that are tenuously connected by a simple idea that Acts 2:38 is the proper response to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Now exactly what that means is pretty wide and varied.

Some of us believe that you are saved only if you have been baptized in Jesus name and have received the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues.
Some of us believe that you are saved when you repent and that saved people will go on to be baptized in Jesus Name and will receive the Holy Ghost.
Some of us believe that you are saved at repentance and that saved people generally (but not always) make a public profession by being baptized. (this might be in the title or in the name of Jesus). Generally even this group on AFF will generally baptize people in Jesus name but consider baptism according to Mt. 28:19 to be equally valid.
There are a few around here that think everyone will eventually be saved, even the most evil among us.
There are some that are former members of Oneness believing churches but now either go to mainline Trinitarian churches (Presbyterian, Methodist, Episcopalian etc).
There are some that once belonged to Oneness churches but now go nowhere.
There is at least 1 former AOG person who has never believed the Oneness doctrine.


Oneness doctrine would be (in a very simplified nutshell) that there is one God that has manifested Himself to mankind as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Jesus was God manifest in the flesh.


So, what are you?

What do you all think of dominion theology? Do some of you believe that those that hold onto this theology, C. Wagner, Dutch Sheets are in error and will eventually unit with the new agers and be part of the Apostate church?
