I guess we can call this "The Palin Effect".
Lets see if the momentum continues.

Obama has clearly lost the momentum.
If McCain/Palin nail it down during the debates, its over.
Yes, and maybe people are beginning to see McCain for who he is, John McCain one of the real live hero living among us.

If McCain/Palin can't nail it home in the debates, the race is as good as over. I hope they're briefing Sarah every day over every national and international policy. I have no doubts about her ability to lead/stand up for what's right, but I am worried about the possibility of her not being very knowledgeable about national.international issues.

I'm sure she's being prepared, and studying up, probably 6-8 hours a day, to make sure she's got all the talking points down.

The media is still totally in the tank for Obama, and will be looking to embarrass her with tough or tricky questions....so I'm sure McCain's people are preparing her intensely. I think she's going to surprise a lot of people with how well prepared she is for the tough media questions coming up .

In the end, I think she'll be fine.

She is slated to appear on ABC this week. Anyone know the exact day?

Her poise will highlight Biden's temper.

Doesn't look like it's been set yet.

ABC News' Gibson lands first Palin interview By DAVID BAUDER, AP Television Writer
Sun Sep 7, 6:16 PM ET

NEW YORK - Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin has agreed to sit down with ABC's Charles Gibson later this week for her first television interview since John McCain chose her as his running mate more than a week ago.

Palin will sit down for multiple interviews with Gibson in Alaska over two days, most likely Thursday and Friday, said McCain adviser Mark Salter.

They say she is a fast learner. So pray that they will brief her with all she needs to know about national and international issues.

This woman has had plenty of experience and if you go to her thread, you will find loads of information about her qualifications.
