Well, I am not on an XP machine, but I figured you could. I can on Vista though.

Unlock the taskbar and then try to resize it. That should work.

BTW, I didn't think that you were an imbecial.

I got it! It had to do with the desktop toolbar. Once I closed it, I was able to grab the top edge and resize the taskbar. I'll have to check out more on cool nerds. thanks.
