Re: Things that make me smile....

* Fresh flowers on my dining room table, usually gladiolas or miniature tulips.

* Jeffrey, bad, good, and everywhere in between.

* Spontaneous "I love you"'s from my kids.

* Hannah playing in the sandbox with her little brother. (But only when it's just the two of them--any other time, she's too big for that.)

* My family together at the dinner table.

* Jeffrey chasing one of the puppies around the yard trying to "spank" it after it bit him on the ear.

Seeing my grandbabies faces light up when they see me.

I'm glad I could help. I was sooo frustrated at my kids yesterday. And when I finally got them into bed and was sitting here browsing the forum, I heard them start snoring. I stopped being aggravated at them and started smiling and giggling.

Re: Things that make me smile....

What makes me smile?

1) When my boys do things like holding the doors for ladies and older people and when they use good manners.

2) Whenever I hear "The Star Spangled Banner"

3) Babies giggling

4) Seeing people treat other people with kindness and patience

5) a good book

Re: Things that make me smile....

...when my daughter came into our bedroom while I was getting ready for church the other day...I was standing in front of the mirror, combing my hair. She looked at me and exclaimed..."Daddy, you don't look fat from the back."

And then there's this...
