I agree. The man was clearly trying to overthrow the faith of God's people (and probably succeeded on some level) and tried to keep non-Apostolics from believing and accepting Apostolic truth.
The man is a wolf in sheep's clothing. No doubt about it.

So, because he has a different belief system than you, he is trying to "overthrow the faith of God's people". The implication that you are making is that he intentionally trying to deceive people and send them to hell. How do you make that leap?
THIS is what I hate. I mean, seriously. Those of you that have all the answers, please share so that we don't need to bother with any of this faith business.

His belief system contradicts Bible truth. Therefore it is dangerous to the One God faith. You dont have to be trying to send people to Hell to be teaching false. You just have to be teaching false.

Please, stop with your twisted assumptions.
First off, have you read the man's book? I have.
And second, my issue is not that "he has a different belief system" than me... my issue is that he is clearly and explicitly:
1... primarily, trying to turn people away from Oneness, and is also
2... secondarily, hoping to make Oneness people who read his book have doubts and eventually walk away from the Oneness/Acts2:38 faith. His own words in his book make that quite clear.

And what exactly do you hate, Derrick? That someone who believes that Oneness/Acts2:38 is divine truth would be incensed that a person who walked away from that doctrine is would become an enemy of the Oneness faith and actively seek to draw people away from it? If you hate that, then I cant help you there. I make no apologies for loving this truth and hating apostasy.

I have Boyd´s book. I have no trouble reading books written by different people but his book seemed quite bitter to me and not really a well written book on facts...but that could just be me...
I have read lots of books by people such as Max Lucado and others however I personally have never liked books that attack people written by anyone. I think we can have what we feel is truth without tearing someone down.

Reed has Oneness roots I have a book he wrote years ago. His tone is not as bad as some. I wonder if it is a redo of his former work?
