It is my belief that there are many lifes that each of us have touched and influenced that we don't really know about, but one day...we will know and understand just how many lives were changed.

Thank you for your prayers & blessings,

Yes I know...I have my hankie in my purse. I am taking Mom out to lunch today because everyone else is busy, TIC. I have to keep her busy until 3 p.m. so she doesn't go by my Sister's house where the friends and relatives are gathering.

I had 4 generations of women on my wall and my mother noticed her picture was gone and she looked from room to room in my house and told my brother she could not believe I took her picture down [it is in the video].

Yes, the tears will be flowing today...tears of joy.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.

"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.

"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

Thank you CC1, I do realize how blessed I am to still have my mother. She was so proud of me when I graduated from JCM. I am glad she was there.

Blessings, Rhoni

Rhoni, That is awesome. I'm sure that that will be a video favorite for years and years to come. I love seeing people honored and appreciated who go about quietly being the backbone of churches and families.

Praise the Lord! How wonderful to have this legacy Rhoni. I too know about having a prayer warrior for a mother. She has been gone many years, but she was known for her faith in the Pentecostal message. She was not a church leader but she BELIEVED God for everything.
Thank you Jesus for Moms.
Will also be praying for your brother.

Re: My Mother's 70th Birthday

Just thought I'd check in and tell you the surprise was a success. For 4 hours we have been laughing, crying, and taking pictures. Mom cried through the video as did many others of us. We are all going to Bro. Hancock/Kershaw's church in the morning as a family. I can't wait to worship and celebrate together.

Love & Blessings, Rhoni

Thank you all for your well wishes, prayers for my brother, and blessings. I thank God for a Mother that taught me to pray and not fear satan because greater is HE that is in us, than he that is in the world.

Blessings, Rhoni
